The addition to this simple, traditional 1930s home is so subtle and
so well-integrated into the original house, that from the front yard
is hardly appears to have been enlarged at all. Carefully matching
the new brick to the old was one way to seamlessly blend the new and
old spaces. |

A new master bedroom suite, tucked under the gables of the existing
portion of the house, includes a new master
bath where none had been previously. The kitchen was also moved
into new space, and the old kitchen space was added to the living
room and dining room. |

 |
From the back yard, the new garage blends with the rest of the house.
The new windows were closely matched to the original Cape Cod design
to maintain the architectural integrity of the classic home.
